Who we are
Mark Morente is a men's suit manufacturer and wholesaler based in Istanbul, Turkey, making suits since 1994. We design patterns, cut, sew, press and pack in our own production, with a daily capacity of more than 1,000 suits. We sell only to businesses: wholesalers, importers, retailers, wedding and formalwear shops, and brands that want suits under their own label.
What we manufacture
We produce the full range of men's tailoring for business and occasion wear, in slim, modern and classic fits.
- 3-piece suits: jacket, trousers and matching waistcoat, for weddings, formal events and business.
- 2-piece suits: business suits, double-breasted suits and linen-blend summer suits.
- Tuxedos: shawl and peak lapel tuxedos, dinner jackets, jacquard and velvet styles.

Three ways to work with us
You can buy from stock, order production under your brand, or have us produce your own design. Each has a different minimum and timeline.
Wholesale from stock
Many catalog models are ready in Istanbul and sold in size-run lots, one suit per size. A lot is usually 6 or 7 suits. It is the quickest way to start: no sampling, no production wait, and you can mix as many models as you like. Stock suits carry our standard labels. Wholesale suits from stock
Private label
We produce our models, or your adjusted version of them, under your brand. You choose fabric, colour, fit, lining, buttons, labels, hangtags and garment bags. The minimum is 100 units per style. Most retailers and online menswear brands that want their own line start here. Private label suits
OEM manufacturing
You send a tech pack or sample garment, and we produce it to your specifications: pattern, grading, fit approval and bulk production. We make your design for you and don't sell it to other buyers. The minimum is 100 units per style. OEM suit manufacturing
Minimum order and lead time
| Wholesale stock lots | Private label and OEM | |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum order | One lot per model: one suit per size, usually 6 suits (EU 46-56) or 7 suits (EU 46-58) | 100 units per style |
| Lead time | Ships from stock once the order is confirmed | Production typically 12-15 days after sample approval |
| Sampling | Not needed | Usually, for new models or fabrics |
| Branding | Our standard labels | Your labels and packaging |
| Price | Quoted per model and number of lots | Quoted per model, fabric, quantity and branding |
Lead time depends on quantity, model and fabric availability. We confirm it for each order in the quote rather than promising a general figure. Payment terms are agreed per order.
How a suit is made in our factory
Every suit goes through the same production steps, whether it is for our stock or for your brand.
- Pattern making. Patterns are drafted or digitized in CAD by our in-house pattern team. New models are checked with 3D prototyping, then sampled and graded across the size range.
- Cutting. Fabric is checked and cut to the graded patterns for each size in the order.
- Sewing. Jackets, trousers and waistcoats are sewn in our own production. Each order is tracked in our ERP system from cutting to packing.
- Pressing. Seams, lapels and finished garments are pressed so the suit holds its shape on the hanger.
- Quality control. Suits are checked during sewing and again at the end: measurements, seams, lining, buttons, pressing and labels.
- Packing. Each suit goes into a garment bag with its hangtag, then into cartons marked with model, sizes and order reference.
Capacity and certifications
Our daily capacity is more than 1,000 suits, so a single 100-unit style and a multi-style seasonal programme can both be planned without long queues.
- ISO 9001 certified production
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabrics
- ERP-controlled production and quality tracking
- CAD pattern design and 3D prototyping
- In-house pattern making and sampling
Our fabric range covers wool blends, premium wool, jacquard, velvet, linen blends and sequin fabrics, all lined in 100% viscose. See fabrics for how buyers choose by climate and price, and the size guide for EU, UK and US sizing.

Why make suits in Turkey
Turkey has a long tailoring tradition and a complete supply chain for suits: fabric mills, trims, lining and packaging suppliers are all close to Istanbul. That keeps production runs short and makes small and mid-size orders practical. Istanbul is also within a short flight of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia, so buyers can visit the factory and goods can travel by road as well as air and sea.
Buyers who come to Turkey from Far East suppliers usually do it for shorter lead times, lower minimums and easier communication. Our guide to sourcing suits from Turkey covers costs, quality checks and the questions to ask a supplier.
How to start
Send us your company name, country, the models or references you are interested in and rough quantities on WhatsApp. We reply within 24 hours on business days with prices, availability or lead time, and shipping options. The full process is on how to order.
