Suit fabrics we work with

Fabric decides how a suit looks on the rail, how it wears in your customers' climate and most of what it costs. Here is what we use, and how buyers usually choose.

Stacked rolls of natural woven fabric

The fabrics in our range

Most of our suits and tuxedos are made in wool blends, with jacquard, velvet, linen blend and sequin fabrics for occasion wear. All jackets are fully lined in 100% viscose. Our fabrics meet OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Relative price is only a guide. The final price depends on the exact fabric quality, the model and the quantity.

Wool blends

Wool blends are the backbone of our range. They combine wool with synthetic fibres, which keeps the price workable, helps the suit resist creasing and makes it easier to care for. They are the right choice for most retail programmes, from business suits to wedding suits, and they work across very different climates.

Jacquard and patterned fabrics

Jacquard fabrics have the pattern woven in, so it doesn't wash or wear off. We use them a lot for tuxedos and dinner jackets in black, navy, bronze, silver, charcoal and green. They sell well in markets where occasion wear is expected to stand out, such as West Africa, the Middle East, the Balkans and Central Asia.

Velvet

Velvet gives a soft, rich surface and works best for evening tuxedos and dinner jackets. Our current velvet models come in colours such as red, burgundy, emerald, sage green and navy. Velvet is heavier and warmer, so it sells best in cooler seasons or for indoor events.

Linen blends

Linen blends are our summer fabric. They breathe well and have the relaxed texture buyers expect for beach weddings, garden ceremonies and hot-climate business wear. We stock linen-blend two-piece suits in grey, camel, ivory and sand beige. Linen creases more than wool by nature, which your customers will usually see as part of the look.

Sequin, crystal and embellished fabrics

For ceremony and stage wear we make tuxedos in sequin fabrics and with crystal, beaded or embroidered details. These are the most labour-intensive pieces in our range. They are popular with wedding shops, rental companies and stage wear buyers.

Linings

Our standard lining is 100% viscose. Viscose breathes better than polyester and feels cooler against the shirt, which matters in warm markets. For private label orders you can choose lining colour or a printed lining with your own design.

How to choose by climate

Start with where your customers wear the suit. These are the choices buyers in each region make most often:

  • West and Central Africa, Gulf, hot climates: linen blends, lighter wool blends, viscose linings, lighter colours for daytime
  • Northern and Central Europe, Canada: wool blends and premium wool, velvet for winter events
  • Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia: wool blends for business, jacquard and embellished tuxedos for weddings
  • North America: wool blends for core suits, satin-trimmed and velvet tuxedos for formalwear
  • Indoor ceremonies anywhere: jacquard, sequin and velvet

How to choose by price point

If your customers are price-sensitive, a wool blend two-piece suit gives the best value. If you are building a premium line, choose premium wool for business suits and jacquard or velvet for occasion wear. Embellished and sequin tuxedos sit at the top of the range because of the handwork involved.

Tell us your target retail price and we will suggest fabrics that work at that level.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an independent certification that tests textiles for harmful substances. Our fabrics meet this standard, which helps buyers selling into the EU, UK and North America, where many retailers ask suppliers for it. If you need certificates for a specific order, ask us when you place it.

Using your own fabric

For private label and OEM orders you can supply your own fabric, or send us a swatch and we will source the closest match. Fabric availability affects lead time, so we confirm it before we quote production time.

Fabric samples

You can request fabric swatches or our fabric book on WhatsApp. Tell us the type of suit and your market, and we will send the relevant options.
