# How to order suits from Mark Morente There are two ways to buy from us: ready-stock lots or made-to-order production under your brand. This page walks through both, step by step, and lists what to send in your first message. ## Choose your path first Ordering from stock is quick and starts at one lot. Ordering production under your brand takes longer and starts at 100 units per style. A lot is one model in a full size run, usually 6 suits (EU 46-56) or 7 suits (EU 46-58). Lots vary by model. **Made to order:** 100 units per style. A style is one model in one fabric and colour. We sell to businesses only and don't sell single suits. ## Step 1: Send your enquiry Message us on WhatsApp or Telegram. You will get a reply within 24 hours on business days. A complete first message saves a lot of back and forth. Include: - **Company name** and website or social media page - **Country** and city you are buying for - **What you sell:** retail shop, chain, wholesale, online, rental, uniforms - **Model codes** from our [collections](/collections), or reference photos - **Quantities:** number of lots, or units per size for production orders - **Branding:** our labels, or your own labels, hangtags and garment bags - **Destination** and whether you have your own forwarder - **Timing:** when you need the goods in your store You don't need everything at once. If you only have model codes and a country, send those and we will ask the rest. ## Step 2: Catalog and quote We reply with a quote that lists price per model, quantity, availability or lead time, and shipping options. For stock orders we confirm how many lots of each model are available. For production orders we include sample cost and lead time. If you need a fuller catalog or photos of a model in a particular colour, ask in the same chat. Prices are not published because they depend on model, fabric, quantity and branding. ## Step 3: Samples, if needed Stock buyers usually don't need samples, because the catalog shows the actual product. If you want to check quality before a first larger order, we can send a sample suit. For made-to-order production, sampling is the normal step before bulk. Our in-house team makes the sample in your chosen fabric and fit. You check it, send comments, and we correct it if needed. Bulk production starts only after you approve the sample. Read more on [private label](/private-label-suits) and [OEM](/oem-suit-manufacturing). ## Step 4: Order confirmation and payment Once you agree on the quote, we send an order confirmation with models, quantities, sizes, prices, branding details and delivery terms. Payment terms are agreed per order, depending on the order type, size and our history with you. Stock is reserved and production is scheduled once the order is confirmed under those terms. ## Step 5: Production For stock orders there is no production step; we move straight to checking and packing. For made-to-order runs, production typically takes 12-15 days. The exact time depends on quantity, model and fabric availability, and we confirm it in your quote. We cut and sew in our own factory and track every order in our ERP system, so we can update you on progress at any point. ## Step 6: Quality control Every suit is checked before it leaves. For production orders, checks also happen during cutting and sewing. The final inspection covers: - Measurements against the size chart or your spec sheet - Seams, stitching and lining - Pressing and overall finish - Buttons, buttonholes and zips - Labels, hangtags and correct sizes in each lot Our production is ISO 9001 certified. We send photos or video from production and before shipping, so you see your goods before they leave Istanbul. ## Step 7: Packing Suits are packed according to the order. Common options are: - Each suit in its own garment bag, folded into export cartons - Suits on hangers, if you want them ready for the shop floor - Cartons marked with model codes, sizes and your order reference Tell us your preference when you order. See [shipping](/shipping) for packing details. ## Step 8: Shipping We ship by air, sea or road, or hand the goods to your own forwarder in Istanbul. Air is faster and suits smaller orders. Sea is better value for large volumes. Road transport works well for Europe and Central Asia. We quote shipping per destination and prepare the export documents. See [shipping](/shipping) for the details. ## A sample first message Here is a short message that gives us what we need: "Hello, we are Example Menswear, a formalwear shop in Lagos, Nigeria. We are interested in 3 lots of model T05 and 2 lots of model S05. Our labels are fine. Please quote delivery to Lagos by air. Can you also share your newest tuxedo models?"
